OUR MISSION

Saint Aloysius is a Catholic education community whose ministry provides an opportunity for all students to develop their spiritual life and academic potential.

Five Pillars of St. Aloysius

Five Core Pillars of St. Aloysius

FOUNDATION OF FAITH

Throughout our school day, faith is continually at work. It provides a solid foundation for all of our academic and social activities. Our teachers create an environment where students learn and practice self-respect, modesty, respect for others, and morality as a part of their everyday life.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

At St. Aloysius School, an emphasis is placed not only on achieving academic success but also on developing the tools to learn and achieve. Our students consistently score above the 85th percentile on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. Since 1991, fifteen of our alumni have gone on to achieve valedictorian or salutatorian status. We are also able to provide our students with an enhanced curriculum that includes Spanish, Technology, Art and more.

Academic Excellence
INDIVIDUAL FOCUS

St. Aloysius School is committed to small class sizes. The student-to-teacher ratio creates an environment where each individual student can excel at his/her own pace. We also provide students with the one-on-one instruction needed to increase self-confidence and educational results.

FELLOWSHIP

Our students and families find St. Aloysius to be more than a school, it is a family. Throughout the day, our children interact through numerous activities including K-5 Reading, Mass Buddies, and in our all-school music program. This interaction fosters mentoring, guidance, and relationships across all grade levels.

SERVICE TO OTHERS

To complement and complete our learning environment, St. Aloysius School also emphasizes service to the community. Through classroom service projects and volunteer activities, our children learn there is more to life than receiving. They have experienced the joy of giving in their work for local charities, service members overseas, and the elderly.
