Summer 2022 - Battle of the Books

Every summer, Mrs. Hruby challenges students to participate in a "Battle of the Books" competition to keep kids reading while school is out of session. This past summer, 16 students in grades 4-6 took on the challenge! Participants broke out into teams of 3-4 students, read a total of 12 books, then tested their knowledge of these books in a scavenger hunt and a genre sorting game! Our winning team scored 35 out of 36 points! Now that's a group of smarties!
